The Women Solidarity Network (WSN) aims at promoting women’s rights, coordinating efforts to improve women’s protection, and contributing to peacebuilding in Yemen.
Visit the WSN WebsiteThe Peace Track Initiative (PTI) was founded by Yemeni women inside and outside Yemen who came together in 2015 to support the peace process in Yemen.
At first, it was incubated in Geneva at the Geneva Center for Security Policy and then on 22 October 2017, PTI was incorporated in Canada as a non-profit incorporation (Registration No.: 1046074-5).
PTI also has a cooperation agreement with the Yemen Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MOPIC) to operate in Yemen. PTI is hosted at the Human Rights Research and Education Center, at University of Ottawa in Canada and has a Country Office in Aden, Yemen. PTI also has an ECOSOC special consultative status with the UN.
