In 2016, more than 70 women leaders from Yemen developed a Women, Peace, and Security National Agenda and shared it with the UN Envoy to Yemen office, the ambassador’s sponsors of the peace process in Yemen, and the security council. In June 2017, the Security Council acknowledged receiving the agenda.
